We are moving from traditional project management to a hybrid agile / waterfall development setup that need to be managed over time. We will have internal agile development in combination with a traditional hardware development. This must all be cross functionally synchronized through our E&EE Project managers with the project organization outside the E&EE department.

This is us, your new colleagues
We, the E&EE Project Management Office, consist of 30 project and portfolio managers. We are involved in all projects with electrical and/or electronic impact. In some product changes we have an overall responsibility for the complete vehicle delivery; in other we take the E&EE project management role for the specification, design and internal verification of the electrical system.
Many of our projects are global, both in a product perspective and in an organisational perspective. We daily work with our many stakeholders, internal & external, national and international.
Our products have impact to many people - all over the world - every day. We are proud of that!

Required knowledge/experience
You have an MSc degree or equivalent. You should also have good knowledge of the 'DVP Project Handbook' and be PMP® certified or plan to become.
Experience from agile development is considered as an asset.
You have at least three years of experience from project management and have previous experience in leading people. Steering committee experience is a plus.
You have experience from development of embedded systems preferably from the automotive industry. You are an excellent communicator, have the ability to encourage people and to set and show clear direction. You act with fairness to direct reports but also have the ability to motivate teams towards challenging targets and manage stakeholders versus their expectations. You always strive to develop further in your role and show strength to manage risks in planning and decision making. You need be both business and customer oriented.
Since the role will interact in an international environment, being fluent in both spoken and written English is something we require, and experience from managing global tasks is a plus.

One of your main responsibilities will be to manage and secure the project deliveries through our E&EE project managers and be the interface for any processes related needs regards to our way to deliver the projects in the start cost portfolio.

We believe that you have previous experience in leading people and that you are curious to learn and develop also yourself. You most likely as well have been working as a project manager and are used to focus your, and others time on what is most important.
Further responsibilities include taking an active part in the PMO management team and support and drive actions to fulfil our strategic objectives.
