Your challenge - and what you can expect
Egmont has a central e-commerce team that is responsible for building the new business area. The team is working with investing in new companies, support performance in current companies as well as building strategic differentiators by utilizing Egmont assets. Based on this we search for a person to join the team to focus on project based improvement work in the e-commerce companies. Work will be very varied, across different companies and business areas. Work will in general be towards department heads and managing directors in the companies, so a strong business understanding is required. Much of the work will be market oriented and previous experience from digital / marketing / e-commerce / big data is an advantage.
We want a highly skilled person that will make a difference. As we are a small portfolio team we need strong performance and a person than can identify growth potential and have the ability to execute. You will have the possibility to work with several fast growing e-commerce companies across the Nordics.
Goal/objectives
• Support strategic direction and growth ambition for portfolio companies.
• Improve performance of portfolio companies, with especial focus on web, marketing and CRM performance.
• Identify potential by utilizing KPIs and best practice.
• Be part of acquisitions processes, Due Diligence and post-acquisition processes.
• Create "new offerings" by utilizing potential between e-commerce and media.
Tasks
• Participate in projects and run projects independently that could be both focused on one particular company or span across the portfolio.
• Increase portfolio companies business insight in a data driven and fact based manner.
• Translate data insight to business potential.
Who you are - and what you will need to succeed
• Bachelor or masters degree.
• Experience from a data driven and analytical environment - typically digital agency, e-commerce or mgmt. consultancy experience.
• Strong analytical skills based on experience from a digital environment.
• Strong execution power and experience from an independent work environment.
• Strong people skills to be able to efficiently interact and build relationships with portfolio companies.
• Agile mindset with ability to easily shift focus between matters of various nature and dignity.
• Fluency in English and Swedish, written and spoken alike.
