hela Sverige Do you hold a masters degree within Chemistry, Physics or maybe Biomedical Engineering? Do you have demonstrated experience in Chromatography analysis? Then you may be just the person we are looking for! Adecco Life Science is now searching for a DSP Fast Trak Assistant to our customer in Uppsala. The assignment is a consultant assignment which will start as soon as we find the right person and proceed until 2016-12-31.
The Arena
Our customer is a global company within the biotech/biopharma industry located in Uppsala.
Fast Trak is a solution that provides support to the biopharma industry in the form of process development, consulting and training to the industry and academia.
The Role
The role as a DSP Fast Trak Assistant includes:
• Assisting with Fast Trak in different Process development projects (Monoclonal Antibodie, MAb's, or recombinant proteins) in the lab through independent performance of experiments, analytics, buffer preparation and report writing.
• Assisting with large column packing activities.
• Supporting trainers in preparing and teaching laboratory exercises.
• To maintain accurate and complete records of all work in a timely manner.
• Helping with Lab maintenance
Requirements
We are looking for someone with a Masters degree in Chemistry, Physics, Biomedical Engineering, Chemical engineering or related Life Sciences field. To be able to perform you need previous demonstrated experience in chromatography, use of ÄKTA Explorer/ÄKTA Avant/ÄKTA Pure and Unicorn software.
We are looking for someone who have earlier demonstrated ability to operate in a high pace environment with frequent changes and strict deadlines. Demonstrated advanced English skills both written and spoken are necessary for this positions and the ability to add positive atmosphere to a team environment.
Other desired qualifications
• 3+ years' experience in process development or R&D laboratories. I
• ndustrial experience in Downstream processing of biomolecules.
• Understanding of principles and theory behind unit operations for processing biologicals.
• Analytical experience: HPLC, SDS-PAGE, ELISA, etc.
• Column Packing Experience.
• HTPD experience (96-well plates).
• Experience with and Assist software.
