Service Engineering and Information Management (SEIM) is a department within Volvo Buses. Our mission is to ensure that our customer have the best maintenance and service information possible. We are on a change journey where driver's information serves an important part.
To strengthen our organization we are now recruiting a Driver's Information Specialist.
THIS IS THE ROLE
The responsibilities are twofold, first and foremost drive the development of the driver's information products: the driver's handbook and the quick guide. And in addition, develop the content of the products.
This role is much about networking and collaboration with people. Both developing and maintaining an internal network of Volvo Bus product professionals across the whole organization, but also to build external networks and collaborations. An example of this is participating in all phases of our bus development projects and globally coordinate technical information retrieval for the purpose of planning deliveries together with our suppliers, like system providers, translation agencies and illustrators.
To summarize it, the Driver 's Information Specialist owns the end-to-end process for the production of the handbook. To have the holistic view of the Volvo Bus business and operations, collaborating and build cross functional relationships with IT system solution teams, global manufacturing and other stakeholders is crucial.
WHO ARE YOU?
Ideally, you have a passion for public transport and Volvo Buses premium products, as well as a desire to enhance information to benefit our customers.

We think you have an education in Technical Writing, Communication, Engineering, Marketing and/or equivalent experience from the automotive industry
You need excellent communication skills in both the English and Swedish language
It is an advantage if you have experience from the automotive industry
It is meritorious if you have good knowledge of the Volvo Bus product portfolio and required system applications
