 GENERAL PRESENTATION
MSF Sweden is a respected and visible actor for humanitarian principles and action in the
Swedish civil society, with a strong presence in media. MSF Sweden was founded by Swedish doctors in 1993. As a partner in the international MSF movement, MSF Sweden exists to assist populations in danger by recruiting medical and non-medical fieldworkers, by raising funds and by raising awareness and provoke change through the act of témoignage (bear witness), or advocacy. Since its foundation, the Swedish section has grown at an impressive rate. By the end of 2010, MSF Sweden had 240 000 private donors supporting the organisation, while the Swedish government through Sida contributed with 109  million SEK in addition to the 323 million SEK raised that year within private fundraising. In 2010, the Swedish section had 146 departures of field workers to the field. The office of MSF Sweden consists of approximately 30 full-time positions and around 60 committed office volunteers.
 RAISON D'ETRE », MISSION AND NATURE OF THE POSITION
• Providing high level qualitative service and availability to our donors and public, through qualitative and professional handling, communication and attitude in order to enable the continued growth, loyalty and upgrading of donors in MSF-Sweden.
• To contribute to increased quality and capacity within the Donor Service team.
• To be an active and contributing part of strengthening the fundraising capacity and the fundraising team in MSF Sweden.
DUTIES
 Responsible for ensuring a high qualitative service in handling regular donations and donations within donor service. 
• Main responsibility for the administrative handling of regular donors and donations within donor service, including overall routines, planning and processing key files in our database.
• Responsible for all steps required to ensure qualitative entering of regular donors into our database.
• Responsible for all administration in the direct debit area (e.g. handling of returned mail and other direct debit related tasks).
• Collaboration with Face2Face staff regarding planning and structure of the administration of new direct debits.
• Ensure good information sharing with concerned fundraising team members and external contacts including updates on incoming amounts, number of regular donors and results of regular donor campaigns.
• Responsible to train and mentor volunteers who registers the direct debits.
 Acting as a support for incoming telephone calls.
• Be a resource in handling of incoming phone-calls and enquires form the public and from donors according to daily need, coordinated by the Donor Service Responsible.
• Be updated on MSF in general, and on current MSF issues and activities, in order to be able to answer main donor questions.
 General Donor Service and Fundraising duties
• Responsible for supporting volunteers in their work related to the post's responsibilities and other areas of donor service.
• Update and create guiding documents for the related to the posts responsibilities and other areas of donor service.
• Suggest improvements in donor service routines and processes related to the post's responsibilities.
• Be an active contributing member of the fundraising department, sharing the plan and visions, hence being a resource for developing and improving the fundraising capacity in MSF Sweden
• Being a backup for other posts within the Donor service team, coordinated by the Donor Service Responsible.  
JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Strong Experience in data registration and processing
• Experience in - and enjoying - donor/customer service.
• Is service minded and flexible, can adapt to changed circumstances.  
• Is structured, plans and prioritize work tasks efficiently, in daily work and towards MSF need at times of emergencies.   
• Good sense of numbers and attention to detail and is self propelled, assumes responsibility for own tasks.
• Skilled in verbal and written communication with excellent Swedish and good English skills.

• Have a personal maturity, is confident, committed and possesses self awareness
• Have high interpersonal skills, works well with other people and is stable, calm and concentrated in stressful situations.
