Media and Communication Studies at Örebro University is a thriving research environment of recognised international and global standing. Media and Communication Studies at Örebro is one of the world's leading centres in critical studies of traditional/online media discourse, of political and strategic communication, and of film and visual communication.
Doctoral studentships
The position announced will be in the general area of Media and Communication Studies. The doctoral project should be empirically driven and fall within the field of, broadly understood, discourse studies. The doctoral student will be located in Media & Communication's research team Discourse, Communication and Media, and the doctoral project is expected to be conducted in close relation with existing/planned research projects.
The successful candidate is expected to be able to communicate scientific results in English, in both speech and in writing.
The successful candidate is offered a place on the doctoral programme concluding with the Degree of Doctor. The position is offered as a full-time doctoral studentship for the duration of the programme (4 years). The initial salary for a doctoral studentship is 25,800 SEK per month.
