We have a role for a DNS Specialist, please find below the details:
Assignment Description:
We are now looking for a Production Technician for the area Network Security Applications in our Network Operations team in Gothenburg with a focus on Proxy and DNS.
As a member of our team your main focus area will be the proxy Bluecoat environment and you will also heavily be involved in the DNS infrastructure HCL external customers.
Within the DNS area we use Bluecat.
You will also get the opportunity to work with SMTP (Ironport & Sendmail).
The team has the full responsibility for the global operations.
Specify mandatory Skills
Qualifications and skills required:
• Deep technical knowledge of HTTP Proxy, preferably Bluecoat
• Good knowledge about Unix systems preferably Linux
• Good knowledge in network protocols (TCP/IP, DHCP, NTP, HTTP, FTP)
• Good understanding of DNS preferably Bluecat
• Good understanding of SMTP, preferably Sendmail and Ironport
EU citizen
Specify secondary/preferred skills Other qualifications:
• Collaborative and logical personality
• Have a competence-sharing attitude
• Share our Volvo IT core values: Professionalism, Respect & Spirit
• You also have to be proficient in both spoken and written Swedish and English
Required relevant experience estimated in years 3-5 years
Preferred Location Sweden - Göteborg
Language requirement if other then English Swedish
Language Dependency: Swedish
