Director Product Management Aftermarket

What do we offer?
As Director/Group Manager Product Management you will lead a team of highly skilled and demanding Product Managers with a winning mentality from different cultures, ages and background. You will interact closely with your team and all necessary company functions to:
• Manage relationships within AB Volvo as well as internal Volvo Penta organization to support our product managers. Strong driver of One Volvo Penta!
• Own and actively drive product/feature planning and maintance of our product assortment including cooperation with other segments
• Be overall responsible for business & sales performance for the complete assortment within the aftermarket related portfolio
• Initiate, develop, implement and follow up steps towards onboarding of new technologies (emob, automation, software, etc) and new business models
• Attract, develop and retain new competence domains
• Participate in projects and sales activities together with regions and segments
• Actively support your team members in commercial/technical discussions to prepare the right decisions

Who are you?
• Commercial and/or Technical education (Bachelor of Science or equivalent)
• Understanding of Product Lifecycle Management combined with Line Manager experience
• Business-minded and Sales-oriented preferably combined with understanding of Aftermarket values
• An analytical and big-picture approach to find and implement solutions
• Excellent level of drive-for-results through involvement, transparency and commitment
• A strong leader, a communicator, a team player with sense of humor used to act in a matrix organization and translate business objectives into actions
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken
• Availability to travel when required
