hela Sverige Stockholm Headhunting has been assigned in the search for Hem’s new Product and Technology Director, a role that will lead the tech aspects in building a cutting edge e-commerce experience.
Hem is a management-led startup financially backed by private equity. Hem’s mission is to build the next generation brand for design furniture, covering the complete value chain from design and production of furniture to marketing and sales through a strong presence online.
As Director of Product and Technology you will be responsible for the customer experience of the website, to managing all tech aspects of the operation. In cooperation with sales, e-commerce and design departments you will create and implement Hem’s technology standards across the organization
You will be required to independently and proactively plan, articulate and develop technology initiatives according to the company strategy. This includes e-commerce platform and online configurators, as well as occasional physical point of sales technology. Your responsibilities will include:
Understand, translate and execute the the UI/UX requirements defined by the company stakeholders such as design team, e-commerce director and CEO
Collaborating with the creative team and e-commerce director to translate user experience requirements into appropriate designs
Produce, test, and launch online experiences on our e-commerce platform
Proactively contribute and collaborate with other departments to the integration of other platforms and solutions to our e-commerce solution (such as ERP, CRM and e-marketing activities
We believe that you are working in a similar role today and have deep knowledge of building high-end customer experiences on the web. Preferably within retail.
Your background is probably in tech but the last years have been more focused on the â€product†and the big picture. Still you are fully immersed in the latest internet technologies.
Hem is very much still a startup and you have to be willing to get your hands dirty and have the ability to work with multiple stakeholders.
Experience with online e-commerce is a plus.
