As Director Human Resources you will lead the planning and execution of Connected Solutions strategic activities relevant to further develop our people and organization. The main responsibility includes providing support and advice to managers on all HR related areas. You will lead a small team of HR professionals. It is both a strategic and operational role that requires a cross-functional way of working. The position reports to the SVP Connected Solutions and is a member of the Connected Solutions management team.
Key Responsibilities
As Director HR, your key responsibilities are:
• Lead the planning and execution of Connected Solutions strategic activities relevant to further develop our people and organization
• Support managers in HR related areas
• Propose and drive employer branding activities
• Lead the workforce planning work
• Coordinate and support recruitment activities
• Drive the review and implementation of global jobs and assessment framework
• Coordinate the health and safety agenda/activities
• Lead a small team
• Collaborate with HR functions within the Volvo Group to secure alignment and successful execution of HR related activities
• Be a member of Connected Solutions Management team. As a member of the management team you will be involved in strategy, business development and other projects
Location
The position is based in Gothenburg, Sweden. Occasional travel is expected.

Competence Profile & Qualifications
To qualify for this role, you should have experience from:
• Experience and a proven track record of managing HR activities driving employee engagement and understanding of business targets
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• High integrity and courage to drive and implement changes
• Experience from leadership development and has worked in managerial roles on different levels
• Successful in building excellent working relationships and operating effectively as a member of a leadership team
• Excellent professional skills from senior roles in a fast paced, multicultural and diverse environment
We believe the successful candidate has operational experience from working in a global business environment. You have a passion for business and an interest in people. You have a Master's degree or equivalent as the basis for your career. You are fluent in English. Experience from software based businesses and service development is a merit.
The successful candidate will have shown a winning attitude and great persona in combination with a strong track record and references.
