Summary

We are looking for you who want to interact and work closely with dealers and regions in your daily work. Who wants to make a difference for customer experience and strive to reach the ultimate goal "to have all Volvo products available for our customers at all times".
As member of the Product support management team in the aftermarket part of Technology you have a pure global activity field with multiple interactions in the field as well inside the company.

Owning the Volvo CE Technical support process means that you manage and lead continuous improvements of the End to End process starting with the dealer mechanics at the customer site, via regions to Global Technical support to provide service and support on hard and soft products. With tough targets on resolution lead time and strive to solve customer's technical problems as soon as possible and with the right quality.
Global Technical Support is present in all main Technology sites and the departments are product oriented with product specialists as key competence. In addition the function is deeply involved in the resolution of quality issues, verifying the proposed solution in the field. To develop and distribute field communication through service bulletins and coordinating the necessary campaigns and product updates are other central tasks for the function.
The technical support process interacts with several departments including the Sales Regions, Product Maintenance, Operations, Product Platform, Advanced Engineering & Core Technologies and other Product Support functions.

Main Responsibilities
• Manage and own the Global Technical Support process
• Develop and maintain a center of excellence in Technical Support
• Manage, own and develop the Product update and Campaign process
• Chairman in Technical Support Council
• System owner of Techline
• Drive for efficiency and continous improvement in the entire Technical support process
• Managing capacity and competence growth in the function
