Scandic is looking to grow aggressively within the next couple of years with focus primarily in the Nordic countries, Russia, North- and Eastern Europe.

With the increased number of new hotels including what’s in the pipeline, Scandic needs to immediately strengthen the organization with a new "Director" within Hotel Operations Team, to manage all
future openings onward. As Director of Future Openings you will be the "bridge" from the business development team until the hotel is opened by the Opening GM. It requires taking full accountability
for planning the hotels and their needed preparation to be on time, on costs and fully integrated with all Operational Concepts, Products and Standards within Scandic.
You will be the overall responsible for multiple openings, new hotels as well as conversion of new existing hotels, ensuring that functional and operational corporate resources are aligned and
delivered according to committed project plans (Sales, Marketing, Operational Standards & Procedures, Concepts, HR, IT, Finance, CSR, etc). Director of Future Openings shall also use as much as
possible all good team members in the existing hotels through organized "task force teams". Director of Future Opening will report directly to SVP Hotel Operations.
Profile
• Degree in Business Administration
• Excellent Project management skills
• Solid business and operational experience
• International experience outside Nordic countries
• Financial savvy
• Excellent communication and networking skills
• Fluent in English.
• German or another additional European languages would be beneficial
• Managing several travel days
