Job Summary:
Volvo CE has identified an industry shift towards electricified systems and taken the the strategic decision to secure an indusrtry leading position in this area. This shift has the potential to completely change how we structure and develop, build and sell and support products, affecting over 30BSEK in annual revenue. As such this is a significant strategic global undertaking which requires coordination beyond our traditional project structure. This role will be responsible to lead the eletromobility program initiative across all processes, develop the strategy, gain alignment to the strategy from all stakeholders(Board level when needed) maintaining voice of the customer and ensure execution of the strategy. Success in this role includes development of the electromobility strategy such that we have identified plans for all product lines, and sucessfully changed our global platforms, manufacturing systems, distribution such that these products are profitable through the entire value chain and result in increased market share for Volvo CE.

• Roles:
• As Electromobility Director, develop Hybrid Products Go-to-Market Strategy and execute the strategy

Main Tasks/ Responsibilities / Authorities:
• Establish the electromobility strategy for each global product line
• Define, with sales and marketing, the distribution strategy for electromobility products
• Define, with operations, the manufaturing strategy for electromobiltiy products
• Establish the communications strategy to support the Volvo brand image
• Manage the group of advanced engineering, new product development and global dealer development projects that make up the electromobility program with connected projects managers.
• Drive Volvo CE Hybrid Products to the market on time according to the implementation road map
• Establish steering group and supporting functions.
• Define program details, milestones and success criteria
• Proactively assess program progress and identify risks and issues.
• Drive potential contingency plans with projects managers and major functions.
• Communicate the progress to the stakeholders on a monthly basis.
• Report status and potential corrective actions to the executive management.


Required knowledge & experience:
1. Education/Professional Qualifications required for the position:
• Construction equipment industry experience
• Ability to make a broad contribution to business
• Strong management skills and an ability to interact with people on all levels and from different cultures
• Full understanding of the distribution chanels and selling approach
• Technical understanding of the respective products
• M.Sc. in engineering, marketing or equivalent

2. Additional Important Requirements:
• Proven leadership skill
• 10-15 years of increasing responsibility within a global, multicultural organization
• Excellent spoken and written English
• Ability to travel frequently
