Icomera is growing and now we are looking for a proactive and experienced Director of Sales to join us in our ambition to deliver top classconnectivity products and solutionsto mainly the European transportation market and case by case overseas markets.

You will focus on seeking, identifying, nurturing and closing of high value opportunities identified or newly discovered major accounts.

It is a senior and tough position that is measured by the consistent closing of  “quality”sales according to agreed monthly revenue targets. The position covers all sectors currently served by Icomera and all products with a main focus on the rail segment customers.

You will work seamlessly together with our Sales Team as well as with our Sales Engineering Team. The position is located in Gothenburg, Sweden but the chosen candidate will be required to work between our offices in both Gothenburg and Rochester, UK. You find our customers in most countries in Europe.

The ideal candidate for the position has 6-8 years experience in a similar sales position and proven experience of closing large value opportunities

As a person you are driven, positive and energetic with an ability to understand technology solutions and products. You have excellent negotiation- presentations- organizational- and multitasking skills.

You have great social competence and are good at communication, building understanding and commitment with colleagues, clients and partners, within project teams and with other stakeholders.

You are ambitious and proactive and constantly strive to pick up the latest trends in order to acquire leading edge knowledge and stay ahead of the competition within your domain.

The role as Director-Sales:

• Understanding Icomera’s technology
• Identify, qualify, price, plan, progress and close “major accounts” sales opportunities within Icomeras target market
• Proactively manage the new business sales process to achieve/exceed company goals and targets in sectors through direct or existing and future sales channels.
• Proactively manage and continually improve client and partner relationship

We believe you have:

• Proven experience of closing large value opportunities
• Good interpersonal communication and customer service skills
• Strong aptitude for learning new technologies
• Ability to strategically plan and manage a sales approach for key bids
• Experience of the transportation sector would be an advantage.
• Excellent language skills; fluent English is required, Swedish and other European languages are desirable.
• Degree/s of relevant experience
