We are now looking for a Director - Development & Runtime Support
In this role you will be reporting to the VP Shared IT Services, Volvo Group IT. We are looking for a person that can develop and drive strategies that will enable Group IT to work more efficiently driving business value to our end customers.

Key responsibilities

• Manage process, methods and development tools for Group IT
• Drive efficiency and quality in deliveries by:?Development and utilization of decided processes, methods and tools in Application and IT project delivery

• Sharing of best practices and managing competence networks cross the organisation
• Responsible for deveopment of frameworks for IT architecture, Test, Requirements management and Integration to mention a few
• Responsible for Integration Center of Excellence
• Development of frameworks for architecture, software change and configuration mgmt., application security, testing & integration

• Responsibility for development platforms such as .NET, Mobile, Java EE, SharePoint, BI, integration, IBMi, Artifical Intellegence
• Securing training and coaching for process methods and tools, ,Management and operation of ITSM capabilities
• VPS4IT Center of Excellence (lean IT)
• Responsibility for Group IT internal application portfolio and internal IT questions in Group IT such as IT equipment questions
• Monitor trends in new development metods, competences and processes. Participate with our partner Gartner, conferances and other companies to gain knowledge

Required competencies
• Relevant university degree in Business Administration, Engineering or eq
• Minimum five years of senior management experience
• Experience as line manager, in developing and coaching people
• Solid experience from IT management
• Solid experience from working in a IT delivery organization (project & runtime) including solid knowledge about methods, tools and processes used
• Solid knowledge about Lean and Agile ways of working in IT delivery is meriting
• Proven experience of capability to drive change in a global context
• Experience from leading in a global context
• Excellent communication & presentation skills
• Fully proficiency in English
• Developer or Architect experience is an advantage

Required leadership skills
• Have the ability to, in an inspiring way, communicate vision, strategy and objectives
• Have proven capacity to execute against set targets
• Have a leadership characterized by high level of integrity and trust
• Have shown managerial courage
• Have strong focus on cross unit collaboration in order to secure delivery efficiency
• Have an ability to gain trust with various stakeholders on different levels within the organisation
