Digital Team lead (eCommerce)

Thanks to this fast and solid growth, with a turnover target of 1 billion SEK in 2019, Happy Socks now requires a talented Digital Team lead (eCommerce) to join its eCommerce team. You will be part of a happy and extremely driven multicultural company of approx. 80 people from 20 countries, and based at Happy Socks' Stockholm, Sweden HQ. It's a fantastic environment to work in, we like to work hard and play hard, and always make time for a game of table tennis or a beer at one of our afterworks.
As our Digital Team lead, you will be responsible for the IT side of our eCommerce. The Happy Socks online consumer should be able to shop easily, securely and smoothly, weather peak season or not, and you are responsible for the architecture behind that experience. You will ensure that we have the right eCommerce technology right now and in the future.
You will manage the website team, four people in total and report to the Head of eCommerce.
Responsibilities and tasks
• -Responsibility for eCommerce systems architecture and selection of technologies
• Proactively plan the eCommerce platform for future growth, identify risks and eliminate them
• People management; ensure that the team is motivated and challenged
• Responsible for selecting hosting solution with the goal of fast loading globally as well as zero unscheduled downtime
• Research new technologies and provide guidance on how to make best use of emerging tools, services and automation frameworks
• Create project plans and manage resources, dependencies, prerequisites and costs, update stakeholders in a timely manner
• Work hands on with system settings, testing, data etc.
Your profile
• University degree in computer science, technique, information systems or similar and working experience within the field
• Passion for eCommerce and applying modern technology and processes to support a top-quality and engaging online consumer experience
• Ability to see the big picture and understand how individual components and services combine to make systems greater than the sum of their parts
• People management experience
• Experience in project managing IT development
• Egoless and always work for the best of the business with a burning and positive attitude that shows
• Excellent communication skills and fluency in English, both spoken and written
• Experience in working with agile methodologies
