For this exciting journey, we are now looking for a curious and customer-oriented Digital Specialist, working with our product offer within the design and planning area of partner software or machines. Your mission
In this position, you work in close relation to the industry and our partners, collaborating with other team members within the Digital Machining Business team of product managers as well as with purchasing, legal, sales, R&D and other important stakeholders.
As a Digital Specialist, you:
• Identify new business opportunities, customer demands and technical needs as input to new offers within machining process strategies, machine connectivity and our CoroPlus portfolio.
• Validate solutions based on identified markets and assist our global organization in taking the offer to our customers and partners.
• Drive our technical initiatives in cooperation with external partners - enabling new offers to be implemented, successfully launched and commercially available, and thereby growing our CoroPlus business.
• Interact with our business development and product management to align and launch technical integrations with our strategy and go-to-market models.
• Work strategically by setting implementation and product strategy plans in relation to our future CoroPlus business.
Connecting the demands from the manufacturing industry and the metal cutting processes to our digital offer and our partners is an important part of your mission, and you take customer user demands into account to add value from an out-side-in perspective. You also support the development of sensorized tools and machine connectivity with both technical and functional input, and follow-up on status according to set specifications. Together with our offer and product managers, you are a key player involved in activities with partners, development departments and R&D to make all of this happen.
The location for this position is Sandviken, and international travel is included in the job. You are part of a tight team and you report to the Offer Manager for Digital Machining Business.
Your profile
We are looking for someone with relevant experience from working with machine tools or robotic systems. You are technically skilled, with a genuine interest in the journey of digital networking, and you understand the market and our customer demands. Competence and experience within the machining industry is mandatory, as is an understanding of the machine connectivity area, using applications such as MT-connect, PLC integration, Profinet, OPC UA etc. Good understanding of the cutting tool process is beneficial, as is experience from working in a change-intense environment, like the area we operate within. We are truly global, meaning you need advanced English skills, both verbally and in writing, while knowledge of Swedish is an advantage.
