What you'll do
In Digital Core we will create a secure digital infrastructure that enables growth, scale, and efficiency. At Volvo Cars, we intend to improve the digital backbone by building out necessary capabilities for our future business, but also by decreasing technical debt and unlocking efficiencies in our current business capabilities. As a Sr Business Analyst in Digital Core, you'll be responsible for documenting requirements and doing gap analysis in cross area programs, including car programs, enabling end state process with supporting of digital capabilities. You'll collaborate with well-established teams/cluster/areas such as Manufacturing, Finance, Procurement, Cyber Security, Supply Chain, etc.
You will play a key role in defining the business or digital requirements, translates into detailed functional specifications that undergo business stakeholder review. Together with the program and product teams you find new capabilities that's makes a difference, but also support of setting the roadmap and align with the digital objectives, and key results.

In the role of Sr Business Analyst, we are looking for someone who is a collaborator, good communicator, analytic, great business acumen, and interpersonal skills, able to converse at a senior management level and other. You must have experience of business analyst work within the capacity in large complex- and strategic digital programs projects and programs in an agile set up, but also experience from working with analysis for processes in R&D, Manufacturing, Logistics, Order to Delivery, Procurement & Finance. Within your role, you should not be afraid to dig into the details of requirements and converting them to epics, features, and user stories. Your ability to manage risks and dependencies across different teams and to visualize a consolidated roadmap is excellent. You are passionate about digital technology, but also the skillset of Business Analyst and how it can help us to reach our future state.
It is a plus, if you have experience of hardware development of complex high-tech industrial products, for example cars, trucks, or similar and understand how the software and digital backbone connects to each other, in a scattered IT landscape.
