Position Summary

If you are skilled or have right educational background in digital signal processing, understand different wireless standards and understand how radio HW works, this is the job for you.

Our team work with the digital radio part of our radio units that is used in all our base stations. The unit's focus area is on Algorithms developments (like linearization or Crest factor reduction) and firmware (FW) for algorithm control and functions in MCUs (Micro Controllers), internally called Device Processors (DP), Algorithms for steering and control of radio function and other enhancement of radio performance via digital signal processing.

Radio units are aimed for all present wireless standards (GSM, LTE, WCDMA, CDMA) and future ones ( NR/5G, IoT, NBIoT etc)
It is our responsibility to drive research and development within this area and we are taking part off all developments phases from research, studies, predevelopment, product developments and advanced trouble shooting.

The teams are highly skilled in digital signal processing and HW near FW. Due to the nature of our work the teams also have very good knowledge in both our own parts of the radio as well as the overall Radio Unit (RU) products.

We are now looking for new colleagues to strengthen the teams.

The job ranges from systemization of the different digital radio functions to coding and verification including hands-on work in the lab and TR investigations.

Position Qualifications

You have a Masters Degree or similar in Electrical engineering, Engineering physics or Computer Science.

You have knowledge within those areas:
• signal processing
• telecommunication
• radio technology

• You have good knowledge of Matlab programming.

• You have preferable also at least basic knowledge in the area of radio system requirements for the standards GSM, WCDMA, LTE etc.

Skills considered as a merit are:
• SW architecture, SW testing and Programming skills (mainly C/C++)
• Document and report writing
• Scrum and Kanban methodology
• Radio HW design.
• HW near Firmware (SW)
• Experience in designing radio signal processing blocks, e.g. digital filters, crest-factor reduction or linearization.


• You are result-oriented, self-driven and have excellent communication and social skills.
• You are fluent in English and a good level in Swedish is preferable

• Perform Trouble Shooting and Customer Support
• Drive Continuous Improvements of Products and Processes
