We are now looking for a new colleague to join our team at Volvo Energy as Digital Product Manager - Charging API solutions.

Digital & IT is a function within Volvo Energy. We support our customers transition to a carbon-free world through great Digital solutions and experiences that enables customers to shift to fossil-free transport operations. We truly care about the customer's business in terms of up-time, safety, and productivity. We aim at providing industry-leading digital solutions for charging at the home-depot, and on the road.
What are we looking for in this specific role?
This role is focused on building a platform and set of API's to make sure Volvo Energy charging solutions and capabilities can be integrated seamlessly in the Volvo group offerings and digital channels.
Together with other stakeholders and colleagues, you will make sure there is a relevant catalogue of API's available for easy consumption by several different digital products and digital customer channels in the Volvo Group.
Other responsibilities will among others include:
Define, design, and manage all API's to be available for Business areas
Own the charging API products and their implementation on the Volvo Group common API platform
Define, document, and manage the information and data model within the API context: (content, format, scope, business rules and semantics) to be exchanged through API's, to make sure the content of the API's is relevant and adheres to the different standards in the charging market.
Guide and support the different business areas with implementation of API's to be used in their own digital channels
Time to market is of great essence, so we strive to build and learn in short development and release cycles. Together with your delivery teams within the Volvo Group, and external software partners, you will plan and deliver increments for your API products.
This position is placed in CampX, Gothenburg, Sweden.

Qualifications likely required to be successful in this role
University degree relevant to the position: computer science, or equivalent.
Strong experience from designing and building API's.
Strong interest in data design and data management.
Good Digital technology understanding with an ability to manage business and technical complexity
Good understanding and experience from Agile software development and system integrations
Ability to work and collaborate in a heterogenous environment with many different stakeholders, several development teams, both inhouse and with contracted partners in the Digital Ecosystem.
Understanding of the charging ecosystem and relevant protocol standards for charging like ISO15118, OCPP and OCPI. Experience from working with electromobility services, charging systems or energy infrastructure is considered an advantage.
A hands-on, boots on the ground attitude.
Fluent in English, written and spoken.
