The Role
The Digital Finance Lead is a new role within Group Controlling. In this role you will be driving automation and process improvements within the Accounting-to-Reporting and Finance-to-Manage processes.
With the aim of efficiency gains and allowing for improved quality of the financial analysis and conclusions, you will develop and execute digital finance strategies that align with group and business reporting objectives.
You will play a leading role in the Group's journey towards further digitalization. You will review the existing group analytics and will identify improvements, to ensure it is future-proof and set up in a professional and sustainable way. To do so you will be cooperating with your colleagues in Group Controlling and with other Group departments.
The Group has launched the Polaris platform as the new Group Reporting solution (project Nova). You will play a crucial role in the further development of Polaris by participating in and leading some of the functional streams of the Nova project.
You shall encourage and promote digital mindset within the team, demonstrating continued professional development by following leading industry trends and new technologies relating to digital finance.
What we expect of you?
You are a digitally minded finance professional who is very much driven by always finding a better way. You combine your knowledge of finance processes with your experience with different IT systems to drive process improvements. Driving change motivates you. Next to your knowledge and experience you bring the necessary soft skills to ensure successful change management. You are an excellent communicator who can bring a message to different types of stakeholders and on different levels within the organization.
You have a university degree in Finance, Business Administration or similar. You have excellent command of English, both written and spoken. You have demonstrated good knowledge of the financial processes of the Group. Experience with the different ERP and reporting systems (SAP ERP, GPS, Polaris, SAP Business Warehouse, Power BI) used in the Group is a big advantage.
Advantageous experience:
development and execution of automated finance solutions
collaborating with cross-functional teams on a global scale
demonstrated ability to manage projects from concepts to implementation
strong problem solving and analytical skills
understanding of SQL and data platforms such as Microsoft Azure, SAP Hana, etc. to collaborate efficiently with technical developers
other skills - DAX, Visual Basic Analysis in Excel, etc.
