Would you like to be a developer involved in developing digital filters for the Ericsson radio products? Then this may be the opportunity for you!
Our unit is responsible for the development of filters as a part of digital radio algorithms for Ericsson's mobile infrastructure radio products in the downlink (DL) and uplink (UL) digital front-ends (DFEs). We are involved in different phases of technology development, and the digital filters is one of our key areas.
We are looking for an engineer to join our team! Your main task will be designing digital filters for our existing products.
What you will do
Design digital filters for radio products using MATLAB.
Interact with the project to make sure you have the right input.
Handle the filter coefficients and related data securely in a Git repository.
Deliver the new functionality to a continuous integration flow.
Evolve our simulation environments using your software skills.
You will bring
B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or similar.
At least two years of professional work experience preferably in a product development organization.
Proficiency within the field of signal processing used in telecommunication systems and radio technology.
Familiarity with the radio aspects of any of the major standards GSM, WCDMA, LTE, NB-IoT, or NR.
Proficiency in MATLAB. Experience in C and/or an object oriented language like C++ is highly advantageous.
Knowledge in software development.
Knowledge in version-control and code review software e.g. Git/Gerrit.
A creative and innovative approach.
Proficient skills in English; both verbal and written.
