We believe that Business Development has Zmarta Group’s most exciting mission: to shape the company’s future by finding new opportunities and customers in the digital world. During the last year we have launched several new digital services including insurances, credit cards, savings and the Zmarta app, as well as launching the Zmarta brand in Germany.
About the role
We are now looking for a Digital Business & Product Developer. Your role will range from scanning the digital marketplace to identifying ideas, formulating conceptual pitches and driving product development. You will work hands on in research and lead digital product development projects, in most cases from start to finish.
As a Digital Business & Product Developer you will work at a very high pace, with multiple assignments simultaneously, and must therefore have an excellent work structure and ability to solve problems as you go.
Your main responsibilities are:
Independently drive projects end-to-end, interacting closely with our marketing, sales, and technology departments as well as external agencies
Follow digital and fintech industry development, consumer behaviour as well identify opportunities for sizing up addressable markets and and revenue potential
Storytelling: package and communicate findings for an executive-level audience
The Digital Business & Product Developer will report to the Business Development Director. The position is based at Kungsgatan in Stockholm, and will require regular travel to our current offices in Ängelholm, Helsinki, Münich as well as potential new international locations.
About you
You are strategic but also pay attention to detail, are a strongly committed team player experienced enough to work independently with limited support and driven to deliver value to your stakeholders. In addition, the creativity and out-side the box thinking style you possess must be based in a practical reality.
We think you have:
A passion for all things digital
Experience from business / product development in a fast moving technology-driven business or in a digital agency environment
Strong skills in structured project management including knowledge about Agile/Scrum
A very good technical understanding, and an interest in digital services, user experience and an eye for design
Excel at storytelling, conceptualizing and communicating to get stakeholders on board
A relevant degree within Business Administration, Economics and/or Technology or relevant work experience
Ability to communicate fluently in English, and preferably Swedish.
You are also strongly customer oriented, have a structured approach to problem solving, take ownership of your assignments and have a strong commitment to reach your goals.
Apart from the above we highly value language skills in German, Norwegian or Finnish, as well as experience from working in these countries. We also value experience from working in the fintech sector; bank, insurance, credit card, pensions or similar.
