The Digital Services Offerings department, part of the Business Development function, acts as a digital consultancy team, with the main responsibility to support the onsite service team with digital tools and methods with the goal to create a full lifecycle of the customer transaction by attracting, serving and supporting customers digitally. We are now looking for a Digital Business Customer Success Manager to join our team in Fagersta - someone who wants the opportunity to work in a global role and utilize their innovative sides in a new, and still evolving, department and thereby, play an important role in our future development!
This position requires some international travel.
Key performance areas
In this role, you are responsible for the on-boarding process for new customers within SecoPoint Inventory Management and Machine Monitoring, as well as to other digital services later on. On-boarding can include training, system configuration and basic set-up, and will be mostly off-site - although on-site visits may be included where needed. You set up and maintain online support tools through secotools.com to reduce basic support needs from customers, follow up on customer subscriptions and retention, and collaborate with Service Owners/Salesforce to initiate new purchases. In addition, you also work closely with maintenance support outsourced to our IT organization at Sandvik Machining Solutions. Furthermore, you follow up on SLAs, and you initiate and act as business owner for internal software development projects to support ME2 and other internal business projects.
You report to the Business Manager, Digital Services Offerings, located in the UK.
Your profile
We are looking for someone with a degree in IT, Marketing or Business, and you have knowledge of IT-solutions requirement management, development and maintenance. Experience from modern IT development processes within an agile framework, digital software or digital products commercialization and sales, are advantageous. Market knowledge of existing and emerging developments in inventory management software and methods is also a plus. Similarly, we consider it beneficial if you have knowledge of inventory management systems such as SecoPoint. Lastly, as we operate in an international setting with many international contacts, it is important that your communication skills in English are advanced, both verbally and in writing.
