You will develop and implement communication strategies and projects aiming towards setting AstraZeneca in Sweden and the Nordics at the forefront. The role
The Social and Digital Media Manager is part of a diverse Corporate Affairs team with high digital ambitions that is responsible not only for our home market Sweden and the Nordics, but also manages Global Sustainability Communications and directly supports our Global Chairman. The role reports to the Director of Corporate External Communications Sweden but will work closely together with the entire team and region, as well as with our Global Digital Team.
We are looking for a standout colleague who is passionate about communications, comfortable in developing social media strategies, proposing and implementing new ways of working and best practice. We believe that you are an expert in delivering timely and tactical activities and working in our regulated industry is just a new exciting opportunity to develop for you.
You will be expected to provide expert social media communication support and manage relationships with key business stakeholders to ensure business requirements are effectively captured and acted upon. This includes identifying communication needs based on set strategies for the region.
As a person you are energetic, fast-paced and creative and you possess excellent interpersonal skills which you use to create mutual value with a variety of internal and external relationships. You need to be interested in and able to understand and interpret industry news, scientific and medical data and communicate it in an engaging way.
For this role experience and knowledge include:
* Minimum of University degree or similar, preferably within communications.
* Strong Swedish and English copy writing and editing abilities. Additional Nordic language proficiency will be considered an asset.
* Minimum 3 years of experience and a proven track-record working with social and digital media from either a company, organization or communication agency
* Experience developing and managing content across multiple digital channels (web, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram, Facebook)
* Experience in omnichannel amplification and digital influencer outreach, digital and social media paid campaign management
* Experience using enabling technologies and platforms to implement and measure the effect of digital strategies
* Strong communication and presentation skills
* Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies, practices and platforms
* High level of integrity, able to handle highly confidential information
* Comfortable working in an international corporate environment, and at times supporting multiple global time zones
