Do you want to be part of an innovative company working on the future of vehicle steering systems? We are now looking for a Diagnostic Software Engineer to ensure our steering systems comply with relevant OBD regulations and diagnostic fault monitoring strategies.
As a Diagnostic Software Engineer, you will test the diagnostic capabilities of our steering systems and help create and maintain design verification methods to meet fault monitoring requirements. You will work closely with our diagnostics team and suppliers to improve the robustness of our diagnostic systems.
Your Responsibilities:
• Perform vehicle-level testing to verify diagnostic fault paths and reactions.
• Collect and analyze diagnostic data from the entire vehicle.
- Organize data collection (technical solutions and scheduling for testing in various vehicles).
- Assign diagnostic testing tasks.
- Analyze collected data and present results to the diagnostic system designer.
- Support suppliers and the diagnostic system designer to enhance diagnostic robustness.
Din Profil
• Experienced engineer with several years of working with OBD.
• Good knowledge of diagnostic fault handling.
• Understanding of mechatronic nodes and possible fault modes.
• Experience in vehicle troubleshooting.
• Beneficial qualifications include knowledge of steering systems, VCC Diagnostic BT requirements, and a T3 license.
Competencies and Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent documented education/experience.
• EU driving license.
