Job description
Experis Engineering can offer you an exciting opportunity into the world of automotive.
As a Diagnostic Fault Tracing Engineer you will work at the Diagnostics & Embedded System department. They develop fault tracing to be used by technicians at the companies dealers and workshops. You will be a member in a Diagnostic team and also work within project closely together with project leader, product development, etc.
More specific the work tasks will be develop fault tracing, such as guided and directed steps to find faults on components and/or systems. The fault tracing start with Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs), which the Electrical Control Unit (ECU) set. In the step-by-step fault tracing you will also work with wiring diagrams, connected to electrical faults and measurement values. Combines instructions with clarifying illustrations is also a big part of fault tracing work. Authoring is done in Grade-X and will be presented in the aftermarket tool, Tech Tool for the end-user in the workshop.
Your profile
• Engineering background, electrical engineering or mechatronics
• Experience in diagnostics development, preferably from the automotive industry.
• Preferably knowledge in the system TechTool and SID.
• Knowledge in GradeX is an advantage
• Vehicle technology experience and specifically electrical systems architecture
• Customer workshop and end user knowledge
• English and Swedish fluently in speaking and writing.
• Ability to coordinate the work with several tasks at the same time.
