What do we offer?

Do you like to be involved all the way from development of new concepts to the start of production? In the agile diagnostic teams in the ART Uptime by Diagnostics our big challenge is to develop solutions, which both meet legal requirements and have maximum robustness not causing customer disturbances.



We are responsible for development of system solutions, functional design and verification in full-scale test cars. We realise our ideas through the development of software in a number of embedded control systems. When necessary, you will have the opportunity to go on expeditions to various places in the world to test our hypotheses in different environments e.g. warm/cold climate combined with altitudes from sea level to high altitude roads in the Alps.

We are looking to strengthen our team Diagnostic Core and DCL Componenets in the field Fault Manager and External Diagnostic Communications with an additional Diagnostic Calibration Engineer, do you have a passion for complex control systems and want to further develop in the area? Then this role is the place for you to prosper! You will work in an agile team, calibrating different control systems during industrialization phase.



What you'll do

Your main task for the Diagnostic Fault Manager is to offer a generic toolbox for the different detectors (monitors) and apply necessary counter measures when a fault is present like inhibitions and reconfiguration. For the External Diagnostic Communication your main is to provide services with accurate error information to the aftermarket tools at workshops.



Over all your main responsibilities will be calibration and verification of diagnostic systems. You will evaluate and perform problem analysis, be the speaking partner with both internal and external suppliers. You will also plan and create new methods in order to develop the calibration process.



Do you fit the profile?

We see that you have a degree in Mechatronic, Applied Physics, Electrical Engineering or equivalent. You possess experience in electronic diagnostic systems and system specifications, in the extent that give you the capability to understand complex systems and functions.



If you have previous experience within the automotive industry as well as of embedded/engine control systems it is beneficial, further skills in designing software algorithms is an asset. You hold a Driver's License B and are fluent in English.



As a person, you always keep a positive attitude and are self-managed, in order to fully succeed you need to be well organised and proactive in your work. You enjoy being a part of an efficient engineering team; you are an open-minded and reliable team player.
