We operate in Sweden as well as in the US and are now looking to expand the team at our new office in Gothenburg and hire a DevOps Engineer.
About the job
As a DevOps Engineer at Monocl Software, you will have a key role by improving our SaaS platform Monocl EGO and making sure it runs smoothly. You will be part of our development team working closely with the other developers to come up with sensible, scalable, systems design. You will lead the efforts to diagnose, resolve, and prevent production issues and also be responsible for building, supporting and improving our tools for continuous integration, automated testing and release management. Dealing with security risks, platform upgrades and cost optimization will also be a crucial part of your role.
Your profile
To succeed in this role we believe that you have previous experience of AWS and are comfortable with large scale production systems and technologies, like load balancing, monitoring, distributed systems, and configuration management. You have probably worked in a company developing a product that requires extreme data security. You know how to build scalable web services and applications with a modern web stack, preferably within a Java environment. If you have strong coding/scripting skills and experience of automation tools such as Ansible/Chef/Puppet/Saltstack you will have a great advantage in this role.
