Scania is currently undergoing an exciting transformation from a pure truck manufacturer to offering complete, sustainable transport solutions. IT is a crucial part of this transformation and Scania PD IT has started a stimulating and challenging journey of change that will contribute to the development of Scania's business.

The team you will join is working with the entire lifecycle of the application: development, implementations, maintenance and support. Our applications are both Web and Desktop-based built in 3DExperience and Catia.

Your responsibility
We work close to our customers and are involved in the entire system development process, from concept development to implementation and production. The team is responsible for projects and maintenance of current and future IT services that support Scania's processes. You will play a central role in our development organization and will have many contacts around the Scania organization. As an application engineer, you will be involved in requirements, development, testing, maintenance and release management. Together with the other teams, you will work in close cooperation with product and process owners on issues relating to functional guidelines - in both the short and long term.

Your profile
We are currently looking for someone who is passionate about agile working methods, loves development and enjoys the challenge of getting people and technology to function as a team to achieve optimal results. You also see opportunities for personal development in a technology-intensive global company. Do you enjoy working in a sociable and friendly atmosphere, are you down-to-earth and do you like sharing your skills? Then this may be the ideal opportunity for you!

We are looking for an experienced IT/engineer. You will have a strong interest in modern system development in agile contexts and use methods such as Scrum or Kanban. Scania uses the Dassault Systems application portfolio, and knowledge of that would be an advantage. You need to be proficient in written and spoken English, since it's our corporate language.

We expect that you will also have: Commitment and motivation to work in an agile development/maintenance organization

• Good knowledge of scripting or programming
• Good knowledge of general sys admin tasks
• Good knowledge of monitoring, preferably OP5
• Good knowledge of Unix/Linux/Windows systems
• Knowledge of CAD/PDM, preferably Dassault Systemes (3DExperience, Enovia, Catia, and Delmia)
• Knowledge of Oracle databases
• Experience working in an agile team.
• Knowledge from using GitHub/Perforce and Jenkins

As a person, you will be results-oriented, organised and have good planning skills. You view continuous improvement as part of your daily work. You will also have good cooperative and communication skills. It is also important that you are able to take the initiative and work independently. It is meritorious to have experience as a Scrum Master.
