Nasdaq Technology is now hiring for experienced individuals who have 3+ years as an Agile/DevOps Engineer. The individuals must have breadth and depth of knowledge in either the following disciplines; Testing and/or Development, and have a proven track record of working on large scale projects, where primary focus was on 'Continuous Integration & Continuous Delivery' to achieve speed to market and quality implementation of products. Thus enabling organization to transition to Development Operations.

The position is based in Stockholm, which is located in the renovated former Ford assembly plant in Frihamnen. The organization houses 700 of Nasdaq's IT talent across many departments including engineering, architecture, development and testers.

About the Team, Role and Responsibilities

As a DevOps engineer, you will be responsible for working within a team where you will be required to have strong influencing skills, and be able to work collaboratively with your team to infuse change across the organization. The team will be working closely with the software development, infrastructure, operations, product, and project management teams to understand the existing Processes, Activities and Enablers/Tools, and then deliver the defined strategy to the various domains.

Your role will entail various activities in the DevOps CICD journey, and will include areas such as Test Automation, migration of legacy to new enablers/tools.

As a QA Test Sr Analyst in the Risk team, you will be responsible for design and execute test cases following the business requirement. Sometimes you need to build mathematic model in Excel to help verify the profit/loss, margin, and market value calculation. The team consists of experienced business analysts, developers and testers who work closely together in the financial Risk Management area.



Previous Qualifying experience:

* Relevant University degree (e.g. Mathematics, Engineering or Computer Science)
* Experience of doing QA for systems with and without graphical UI
* Tools proficiency in the following areas; Code & Commit tools (e.g. Github, Stash, Artifactory), Build & Config tools (e.g. Docker, Puppet, Chef), Scan & test tools (e.g. Junit, Cucumber, Tricentis (TOSCA)), Release tools - (e.g. Udeploy), and/or Deployment tools (e.g. Pivotal, Docker)

Responsibilities:

* Ability to use a wide variety of open source technologies and tools
* Ability to code and script
* Experience with systems and IT operations
* Being comfortable with frequent, incremental code testing and deployment
* Strong grasp of automation tools
* Data management skills
* Understanding and focus on business outcomes
* Understanding and efficiency in collaboration, open communication and reaching across functional borders

Qualifications required:

* Education Required: Degree or equivalent experience in English, Technical Communication, Computer Science, Information Design, or related fields.

* Experience Required: 3 years in a project delivery in either Testing or Development.
* MS Excel for mathematic calculation and data analyzing purpose
* Proven work experience in SQL, XML and Linux
* Strong Can-Do attitude and good team work skills

To be a good match for this role you must have experience working hands-on in any/all areas of the CICD process. Such as; Test Automation, Build/deployment automation. In addition, you should possess a strong drive to achieve result, be a good team member and be able to work efficiently both independently and in cooperation with others.
