hela Sverige You now have a unique chance to work as the development manager for Hydrotech.The market-leading producer of top-quality water treatment filters for municipal, industrial and aquaculture applications.
You will be responsible for planning, driving, coordinating and following up the development work within the company. This includes developing new process applications as well as mechanical development. You will be responsible for a dynamic group formed by 7 very skilled engineers working to make sure that Hydrotech microscreens remain recognized as the best in the World! You will also be participating in setting strategic goals to develop the company and responsible for setting your team to support this.
Your responsibilities:
Responsible for overall project planning and coordination of R&D.
Responsible for development projects being run and completed within the frameworks decided by the steering group.
Have an overview of ongoing R&D around Hydrotech's technologies within Veolia
Collaborate on R&D inside and outside the company
Responsible for anchoring all development projects with other departments (Purchase, preparation, sales and marketing especially)
Create networks regarding Hydrotech's technologies within Veolia, universities and other cooperation partners.
Managerial responsibility
Responsible for the development of the group's employees
Responsible for salary regulation for the group
Responsible for planning, organising and following up the group's activities to ensure that the group's members have a good working environment and a good balance between work and other parts of life.
Responsible for coordinating the resources within the group.
Responsible for the employees' health and safety
Responsible for personnel-related administration
Budget responsibility for the department.

Travelling
Estimated 30 -40 days pr. year
Your background
You're a leader who's enthusiastic and inspires us to accomplish great things! Being self motivated and driven by making a difference and solving technical challenges!
We believe that you work as a development/ R&D manager today or have another role giving you great knowledge of our specific market and can bring it into our R&D processes. We're looking for someone with at least a master's degree in a relevant education field and several years of experience from technology development in relevant areas (mechanical and process). It's a great benefit if you already have experience from Veolia.
Your leadership style, being good at coaching and motivating your team, combined with your strategic and organised way of working and your great interest in solving technical challenges is your key to success in this role!
You need to communicate fluently in English and it's meritorious but not necessary to speak a Scandinavian language..
