To fine-tune our manufacturing process we need to extract more knowledge from the process itself. We are therefore looking for a development engineer specialized in metrology to facilitate the capturing of system performance in-line selecting/developing and using sensors and sensor systems. This position may develop into a technology specialist track or towards system ownership depending on your abilities and skills.
Your main tasks will be to identify, define and evaluate/develop measurement system and process control related needs both from a theoretical and hand-on perspective. You will also perform technology studies and technology development regarding metrology.

You are a team worker who has the ability to join and melt in to new groups of people. You strive to keep updated in metrology and you realize that in your business there are no set solutions, you are their inventor!
We think that you have either a B.Sc or an M.Sc in applied physics or electrical engineering. Several years of experience from working with sensor development, metrology and Statistic Process Control in a manufacturing industry is an advantage, but your personality and your interest in problem solving and development of measurement systems are essential. Your English is excellent both spoken and in writing. Some international travelling will be required.
