Our key competencies are defined as crucial for the successful execution of the company strategy, are specific to our business and difficult to obtain externally. It is critical they be developed within Tetra Pak.
We are now recruiting a Development Engineer, Sealing Technology, reporting to the manager Inductors. The entire organisation consists of approximately 50 people in five teams located in Modena and in Lund (Råbyholm and Bryggaregatan). This position is based in Lund.
With high qualitative deliverables of sealing components and material in a process driven development you will be working with developing and supplying the market with sealing components that fulfil the specific demands for high quality with standardised technology and material. You will be part of a team of approximately 25 people and together with them drive sealing activities in development planning and manufacturing of sealing components, covering the whole chain from concept to commercial.
Main Tasks/Responsibilities:
• Detail design and concept manufacturing of different key components within Sealing Technology
• Develop injection moulding technology
• Team member in Sealing Technology projects
• Field customer support
• Close co-operation with suppliers when designing for manufacturing and material selection
• Responsible for education and transfer of knowledge to Supply Chain and other stakeholders
• Network with relevant functions and competences within Development and Service Operations
Publiceringsdatum2011-11-01KvalifikationerTo be successful in this position you need to be challenged by a steep learning curve. You will be working with highly qualified team members, so having a responsive and curious attitude is essential. You also need to enjoy working in a team and be willing to share your knowledge with your co-workers.
We believe you have a degree in mechanics or polymer science and at least 2 years experience from design or development in Pro Engineer, preferably from the area of injection moulding. In addition to that you also need a minimum of 2 years using CNC machinery. Special attention will be paid to candidates with experience in Heidenhain milling control system or Gibbs. You are fluent in Swedish and English, both written and spoken.
