Sealing Systems is a Key Competence within Packaging Technologies at Tetra Pak. Our responsibility is to drive and deliver functionality to new and existing products through technology development and innovation. We manage a portfolio of established and new technologies, mastering all process capabilities related to sealing. We also support Packaging Technologies projects with mechanical design and automation capabilities.
This position is based in Lund, Sweden
Main responsibilities
• Build up simulation models in moldflow to influence design of sealing bar and design of molding tools.
• Build up simulation models to simulate structural mechanics in total sealing bar.
• Build up competence in material properties and accelerated life time testing.
• Drive, plan and execute tests to verify physical testing with simulation models.
• Define requirements and develop specifications for modules and test rigs
Qualifications
• Experience in plastic design
• Experience in form filling simulations in moldflow or similar tool
• Experience in structural mechanics simualation.
• Experience in robust design, six sigma, or similar statistic approaches.
You hold a PhD or MSc combined with work experience, within a relevant area for the position.

A strive to always find better ways of working and continuously improve is always on your mind. You also are self motivated and have good communication skills.
