Are you looking for a broad role taking responsibility within projects, but still with a clear focus on technology?
As Development Engineer within Packaging Material Characterisation you will work in a dynamic role, have opportunities to travel and have the possibility to see tangible results of the projects and your efforts in the packages you meet in your everyday life.
The role is dynamic with a lot of interactions within Tetra Pak but also with academia and external suppliers.
You will be involved in all phases of the development, from very early phases to handling issues at customers.
Main responsibilities
• Develop test methods for use during internal development and for quality control in converting factories
• Scout and develop techniques and equipment to characterise/evaluate packaging material
• Host and drive predictive material engineering
• Build and share knowledge and ways of working
• Drive and communicate plans, progresses and results from your area with projects, competence areas and other stakeholders
Qualifications
The person we are looking for is open and actively shares knowledge with others. You know the importance of building cross functional relationships with stakeholders and you have good communication skills and a holistic view. You are an analytical and organised team player which makes it easy for you to create a structure and keep track on many parallel issues.
You have a technical interest and quality is a mindset of yours. You are innovative and enjoy working both theoretically and practically. You also drive for result and push yourself and others to meet deadlines.
We believe you have a Master in Physical, Chemical or Material Engineering. Knowledge of statistics and technique of measurements are required. Working experience from development within the packaging material area is an advantage.
Fluency in English is essential, both written and verbal.
