We are now looking for a Development Engineer in Fagersta, as one of our employees will be on parental leave. This is an exciting role, where you will be a part of an experienced team in our R&D department and, together with them and our customers, develop the products of tomorrow.
Key performance areas
As a Development Engineer, you develop our technology platforms by identifying and solving technical problems connected to materials and manufacturing, as well as by conducting materials studies, using our well-equipped laboratories and reviewing and documenting the results in technical reports and presentations. You participate in product development projects for surface treatment methods and materials analysis and support the organization in responding to customers' questions about our products and their usage. You work is conducted in close cooperation with product development and production technology for developing cutting tools, as well as with universities and other partners in a global network.
Your profile
We are looking for someone with a Masters degree or PhD in Materials Science or Mechanical Engineering. You can be a recent graduate or have experience, and any experience from materials development is a plus, but not required. As we work in a global environment, you need to be fluent in English, both verbally and in writing.
