Development engineer to join us at Siemens Industrial Turbomachinery AB in Finspång
Are you interested to work in a global environment with gas turbine products?
Then apply for the role as Development Engineer and join us within the technical area Acoustic and develop the mechanical systems for gas turbines, combustion air intakes, exhausts, enclosures and ventilation for medium sized gas turbines.
We are one of two teams in the department for mechanical systems positioned in Siemens global gas turbine organization with development responsibilities for the medium range gas turbines.
Your tasks?
• You will work in a technical area team and generate new ideas that increase value for our customers which you develop and implement in the real products.
• You will also be responsible for one or more systems as a focus area responsible and work with sustaining and improvement of system performance.
• You will work in an environment where you have contact with both other R&D- departments worldwide and also order delivery and aftermarket departments
• You will mostly attend in project teams of different sizes depending on the size of the project.
• There will also be occasions when you work more individually depending on topics and tasks.
Your profile?
• You are communicative and have a cooperative style combined with ambitious drive
• You possess analytical skills and are able to drive ideas all the way to implementation
• You are skilled in using English both verbally and in writings
• You are capable or willing to verbally present design proposals for reviewers in design review environment
• You are comfortable both as member in project teams and occasionally in leading role
• You are able to build and maintain a network with stakeholders and other professionals
• You have knowledge in how to perform strategy planning for your focus area
• You value the importance to deliver the agreed result within time
• You have experience of designing solutions that fulfill applicable laws, demands, and standards
• Academic education is merited e.g. university degree, bachelor levels or higher
• Beneficial having experience in system and process design
