Allergon is part of Thermo Fisher Scientific's ImmunoDiagnostics Division, which develops, manufactures, and markets complete blood testing systems to support the clinical diagnosis and monitoring of allergies, asthma, and autoimmune diseases. At Allergon in Ängelholm, we are 50 skilled colleagues who work together to provide both our internal Thermo Fisher Scientific site in Uppsala as well our external global customers with high-quality allergen source materials and scientific support for the allergy business.
How you will make an impact
Are you looking for a great opportunity within the engineering and innovation space? We are currently on the lookout for an ambitious Development Engineer. By applying your project management, technical and process skills you will have a significant impact of the journey Allergon and IDD is on. You will interact cross-functional to ensure that our manufacturing and sales team continues to deliver world class products through efficient and reliable products. You will deliver targets by applying your analytical and structured skills to develop processes and products to meet our customers high expectations. You will be part of a strong team of 3 engineers and 3 technicians. The team is responsible for driving projects and improvements to deliver safety, quality, growth & productivity by innovative and robust solutions. Furthermore, we are committed to ambitious environment and sustainability targets to minimize our carbon footprint.
This is a varied role where you as the development engineer will be involved in product & process development, involved in the digital and technical roadmap, validation activities and day to day problem solving and thereby have the opportunity to utilize all your capabilities.
Your responsibilities:
Develop processes and products to meet customers and company requirements.
Validation, qualification, and documentation of both existing and new equipment
Data analytics, identifying critical parameters, lead time and efficiency.
LEAN/Six Sigma Continuous Improvement initiatives.
You will be the technical counterpart to our internal and external customers and will be the engineering capacity transforming customer needs into efficient and reliable processes meeting high quality standards.
Involved in project management as specifying, installation and qualification at GMP level
Run projects and coordinate contractors as well as design reviews.

How will you get there?
Education
Bachelor's or Master degree in Engineering / biotechnology / Science / Technical subject area or related field preferred.
Project management and LEAN programs will be seen as a merit.

Skills and Experiences
Experience in a regulated environment such as medical device, pharmaceutical, biotechnology or related industry
Experiences with Project management tools like project plans, cost control, risk management and prioritization pending on different parameters
Communication skills both verbally and written with all levels in the organization from operators to site leadership.
Experienced in applying LEAN tools like visual management, data analysis, process mapping.
Experienced in AutoCAD, Inventor or similar will be seen as a merit.
Knowledge within automation and computerized systems will be seen as a merit.
