This position is a direct recruitment, which means that the recruitment process takes place through Bravura and you are employed directly by Nexam Chemical AB.

Nexam Chemical AB develops technology and products that helps producers of different plastics to improve their products, both with respect to sustainability and function. Nexam Chemical AB supply different types of chemical additives and reactive masterbatches to tailor properties and performance. Nexam Chemical AB is working with several different types of polymers and applications. A few key segments are PET foam for the wind energy sector, recycled polymers including PET and polyolefins, but also high temperature polymers used to replace metal parts in for example jet engines. www.nexamchemical.com. Tasks and responsibilities:
As a Development Engineer at Nexam Chemical, you belong to the Business Development team. Initially, you work with solutions that simplifies and improve the recycling of plastics. Your primary responsibilities are to carry out short term development projects which can include specific customer support activities but also development of tailored solutions and products. You have about 2-3 projects of varying nature running at the same time. Most of your work is performed in the lab with our micro compounder and pilot extruders. As you grow into the role, you will have the opportunity to participate in customer meetings to present your results and what you developed. You will work in close collaboration with all functions in the company but especially with Quality Control and R&D. Furthermore, the position offers a high degree of freedom and you plan and execute your work together with your colleagues from the other departments. For example, you work closely together with the production team during the upscaling of newly developed products.
Education, Experience and Personal characteristics:
• Master's degree in chemical engineering or similar.
• Experience of working in a similar position is meritorious.
• Fluent in English, Swedish is meritorious.
