We are a unit with about 30 employees working with project deliveries in industrial automation, IT and drive systems, mainly in the paper and mass industry.
As a development engineer with us, you become part of an open and dynamic workplace where professional and personal development is high on the agenda and where you get to work on many exciting projects!
To increase our capacity in decentralized development of the SIPAPER library, we are looking for a development engineer for PCS7 SIPAPER and SOGO digital. You will be located locally in Sweden to be able to closely cooperate with our customers and their specifications, but at the same time you will maintain a close dialogue with our head office in Germany.
ABOUT YOU
Your profile
• You are an engineer with a focus on energy, electric power, machine control and automation technology.
• You have good theoretical and practical basic knowledge and experience in control systems and process.
• Previous experience with SIPAPER and SOGO digital is a merit.
• Previous experience in commissioning and maintenance is a merit.
• Knowledge and experience in the field of Paper making is a merit
• As a person, you are used to taking responsibility.
• You have a very good ability to work both independently and in groups.
• You have a good ability to plan and organize and, on your own initiative, seek out the necessary information.
• You work in a structured way and are solution-oriented and analytical with good ability to document your work
• You have the ability to imagine an end user's perspective when creating an application
• You are open and communicative and have a professional approach.
• You have good knowledge of English in both speech and writing. Other language skills such as language skills such as language skills, etc. German is meritorious.
• Since traveling to customers is part of your daily work, you need to have a B driving license
Your responsibilities
• The work includes development work and programming within SIPAPER and SOGO digital as well as customer service and maintenance as well as existing facilities in the field.
• The work is free with great personal responsibility and it is conducted in close cooperation with colleagues, the head office in Germany and external customers.
• Design, development, programming, testing and documentation of customer-specific and standard applications for automation systems in the Swedish process industry
• Customer training in the field, and, if necessary, support training for internal employees
• Be helpful in selling new solutions to customers and supporting the sales process
• Actively participate in our projects. Programming automation systems both internally and externally at the customer's premises is therefore part of the service
• Siemens has customers throughout Sweden. Since a certain part of the work is done on site with the customer, you will need (depending on the assignment) to travel
• In the long term, you are expected to take a leading role for the Fiber Industry related part of SOGO digital
