Your mission In this position, you are part of an exciting and professional organization where we engage on a global level to develop common metrology solutions and standards for verification of our products' geometric specifications. We are utilizing and developing high end technology, systems and methods, and you're responsible for the development and implementation of metrology technologies for our Tools production units. The results of your work support our production units to create verification processes that enables manufacturing of advanced and future products. You also provide metrology knowledge within projects for development of new products, as well as scan the market for new technology and keep a close eye on the development of Industry 4.0 within metrology. Some travel is included, and when not travelling you are located at one of our facilities in Sandviken or Gimo. Your profileWe see that you have a degree in Engineering, or another relevant field of studies, combined with broad experience from production, technology development or R&D. Knowledge of using metrology for geometric evaluations, preferably within the CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) area, is considered advantageous. Although, an alternative to metrology knowledge could be experience from working with CAM programming or CAD design. Other skills that comes in handy in this position include experience from statistics and from programming in Java or similar programming languages. You also need advanced skills in English, while knowledge of Swedish is beneficial.Being creative, analytical and results-driven helps you overcome challenges in your everyday work, and you enjoy diving into technical matters within the field of geometric measuring.
