PDU Radio is responsible for the Radio products (HW and SW). PDU Radio Products is responsible for the current Multi-standard Macro and Micro radios (2G, 3G and 4G) and for 5G Radios that includes low power radios, digital RF solutions and advanced antenna solutions for the future. PDU Radio focuses on technology solutions in all the 3 horizons (Short, mid and long term), with a clear wanted position of #1 in Technology Leadership and TTM. The PDU units are located in Sweden (Kista, Göteborg and Lund), Canada (Ottawa) and China (Beijing, Nanjing).
Job summary
Functional systems are systemizing the functional behavior of Radio products. That means we systemize the control SW and control algorithms. In a sense we make sure our highly complex radios work as expected, robust and efficient, compensating for non-ideal HW components. As an example, we are right now focusing on reducing the energy consumption with clever algorithms and as well simplify installation aiming for plug-and-play. This position is focusing on SW security which is becoming increasingly important.
Your role will include activities such as: requirement analysis, system design, architecture design, support to hardware design, software design, integration, verification. As being the bridge between SW and HW we work with both with Lean and Agile methods. We are organized in cross functional development teams in which continuous improvement, innovation and knowledge sharing is part of the daily work.

You, as the successful candidate:
We are looking for candidates with a background in SW Security and are open for different levels of experience. You should preferably have an education specialist is SW Security and minimum 2 years of work experience, but specialists in the field is as well welcome to apply.
Core Competences:
2+ years of software development experience, focusing on SW security
Excellent C++ programming skills
Good mentoring skills
Good skills in English
Good writing skills
Both self-driven and able to work in teams
Not required but beneficial
Product management experience
GSM/WCDMA/LTE or 5G experience
System design experience
Minimum Qualifications & Experience Requirements:
MSc in Computer Science, Electronics, or applied Physics
2 years of SW or embedded SW design, focusing on SW security
