Are you a creative and innovative university design student currently undertaking your education with a keen interest in fashion? Do you have a good eye for trends? Are you interested in working in a customer oriented way? Then you have the right qualifications to apply for a Fashion Design Student Placement at H&M.
The H&M Design and Buying Office is based in Stockholm, Sweden. This is where we design and develop our collections of garments and accessories for a great variety of customers. As a Fashion Design Intern you will work in a team at one of our concepts. Together with the rest of the team you will produce and develop collections that will be sold worldwide in all H&M markets.
FASHION DESIGN INTERN: assisting the fashion designers in developing the products.
Our student placement period in SPRING 2016: FEBRUARY-APRIL
H&M is looking for someone who:
• Is presently studying towards a BA or MA degree in Fashion/Textile Design. The placement has to take place during your education period
• Is creative, visionary and has a passion for fashion
• Has knowledge of pattern making, sewing and textile materials
• Is able to understand the needs of the target market
• Enjoys working in a team
• Is fluent in English
What can H&M offer you?
• A three months contract including the possibility extension if
both parties agree
• Salary is 18 625 SEK/month before taxes
• Additional Benefits: internal training/courses, fitness contribution 1600 SEK/year and a 25% staff discount at all the H&M-group stores and brands
• Insurance during your normal working hours at H&M
• Your placement will be at any one of our concepts, depending on our needs
• Please note: You will need to make your own arrangements regarding accommodation in Stockholm
