Are you interested of developing the next step of after treatment system for commercial vehicles? We are now looking for a person that can strengthen our design team. You will be a part of a team who has the responsibility to develop distributed after treatment systems. The need for distributed after treatment systems are growing due to need of flexible installation demands. The team designs systems for Scania as well as for Volkswagen T&B which contribute to a cross functional and exiting work environment.
Work assignments
You will be a part of a diverse team of 10 persons that designs after treatment systems. The job requires cross functional skills since your design will be used in different installations and by different customers/applications. You will learn and understand the need of the customers and from that make well balanced technical choices. You will act in all areas in terms of after treatment design, having impact on product properties like acoustic, strength and emissions performance. To be able to do that you will work together with experts in these areas and balance those properties to be able to offer the customer the best product.
The group you will belong to works in teams who has responsibility over different after treatment platforms. You will have support from the team from day one and initially you will be guided through the work assignment. In additional to the design assignments you are expected to take part and drive improvements of our work methods and processes.
Your profile
We are looking for you who like technical challenges and that likes responsibilities. You have a bachelor or master in mechanical engineering with a couple of years' work experience from mechanical design. You like to drive you work cross functionally and has good communicational skills. You are creative, prestige less and like to work in teams. Experience within after treatment design are a merit. Due to the divers team some of the communication are in English. It is therefore a must that you handle English in both speech and in writing.
The job requires that you master Catia V5.
