We currently have the following job opening;
Design Engineers, Powertrain hybrid functions
We are looking for design Engineers at Control and Calibration within Powertrain Integration. The module team consists of four areas; hardware, software, calibration and projects. We are responsible for the integration of powertrain electrical control units and their brackets as well as related embedded software. We work closely with our colleagues in China and Volvo Car Corporation to secure driveline functionality and calibration that is requested by the projects. We also work in close cooperation with our colleagues in the Powertrain Integration team. As design engineer for powertrain hybrid functions you will develop the SW as per the requirements for hybrid drivelines.
Responsibilities and tasks
- SW Implementation of system requirements for hybrid driveline strategies
- Design and execution of test cases
- Documentation of SW changes, test cases and test results
- Ensure development, production and aftermarket systems are updated for concerned ECUs
- Cooperate and plan activities together with your system engineer.
Requirements
- Engineering degree at B.Sc. or M.Sc. level
- 5 years' experience from model based SW development
- Experience from powertrain controls and calibration is a plus
- Knowledge about ISO 26262 and SW unit testing
- Great ability to take own initiatives and cooperate with other units in Sweden and China
- Fluent in English
- Cultural awareness, especially Asian - European culture
- Car driving license
- Ability to travel
