The team is a development center, i.e. globally responsible to develop solutions, in the areas of fuel supply, chassis structure, battery boxes and installation of exhaust systems.
The responsibility includes definition of global technology strategies in these areas, as well as the full development from early advanced engineering to maintenance of parts introduced on vehicles around the world.
The team also includes structural analysts, supporting both this development center as well as the local Application Centers in GOT.
Tasks and responsibility:
You will work as a Design Engineer taking the responsibility for our exhaust system installations. In this position, you will work together with colleagues around the world in different projects to develop new components and installations for our future trucks, while continuously maintaining our current products. You will also explore new innovative ideas in advanced engineering.
Your daily activities will range from independent design work in Creo and documentation systems to extensive contacts with your cross functional network, both in Gothenburg as well at our other global sites and at external suppliers.

Qualifications:
• MSc Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• At least 5 years' experience from product development in the automotive industry
• You have an innovative mind set and are open to try new ideas
• Ability to take responsibility and independently lead tasks within your engineering area
• Good knowledge in written and spoken English is essential
• Technical knowledge of Exhaust System is an advantage
• Leader experience is a merit
