hela Sverige Visa alla jobb hos Insolidex AB i Lund As the first engineer employed at Insolidex AB, you are responsible for a very advanced machine for fine mechanical processing of metal components. Using 5-axis processing, you will design and set up manufacturing details specific for advanced metal production.
Duties will include, but not be limited to:
• Being active in setting up the production workflow.
• Evaluation of software for data management, PLM, CAD and CAM, integrated or separate.
• Evaluating suppliers, tools and peripheral equipment. Primary equipment is, at this stage, a DMG MORI HSC 105 linear.
• Participating in meeting with customers to collect instructions and demands.
• Analyzing job orders, drawings, blueprints, specifications, and design data and performs necessary calculations.
• Reviewing 3D CAD design blueprints when available, and generating CAD drawings when required.
• Translating instructions into a CAM program.
• Writing new programs and modifies existing ones for increased efficiency.
• Choosing tools and equipment for production.
• Running simulations and tests.
• Creating instructions for machinists.
• Providing progress, status, and troubleshooting reports to management.
The position requires that the applicant has the following expertise and personal abilities:
• Extensive prior experience from metal manufacturing
• 5-axis CNC experience
• Extensive knowledge of reversed engineering, product design and generation of CAD/CAM
• Good understanding of surfacing
• Part rendering knowledge
• Ability to lead self and others
• Ability to understand the whole process from customer needs to finished product, and to specify and describe process steps required
• Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple priorities
• Ability to communicate professionally in English
• Ability to coordinate and collaborate with an international team

The company is setting up an advanced workshop for manufacturing and processing of metal components, such as industrial tools, molds and products for medical applications. The company's customers are global manufacturing companies within the plastic, metal or medical technology industries.
