Our Agile Release Train (ART) Power and Energy, within Vehicle SW & Electronics, are responsible for the availability and mode management of power and energy for all electrical consumers in all our cars, as well as the software and hardware for 12V and 48V power supply systems. We work with solutions from early concepts to industrialization and with field follow-up.
As a part of Volvo Cars all-electric future, a number of teams in our Power and Energy ART owns the delivery of 48V mild hybrid components. This includes electrical machines, li-ion technology and power electronics.
We Are Now Looking For Engineers With Hardware Competence For Our Mild-Hybrid 48V Power Supply Component Teams.
Who you are:
You are a self-driven team player with high ambitions. You are structured and have experience of complex engineering tasks where you have successfully applied your analytic skills. You can plan projects as well as you own time. As a person you are curious and innovative. You care about people around you and you get things done.
It is required to have a good knowledge in the English language and your communication skills, as well as ability to build sustainable relationships, should be proven strong.
You have earned a B.Sc. degree, or as meritorious M.Sc. degree, within Electrical, Mechanical, Engineering Physics or equivalent level of education.
It is preferred if you have experience from system engineering, software or hardware design within the automotive sector. Experience from AUTOSAR and ISO26262 is specifically meritorious. However, your personality and ambitions is more central than extensive technical experience.
What will you do?
You will work in an agile team according to the Agile SAFe Framework. Agile provides the tools needed to empower and engage teams to achieve unprecedented levels of productivity, quality, and engagement. Your teams mission is to ensure quality of in-house as well as supplier developed software and hardware into our cars - in time at the right cost.
You will work in close collaboration with other competences and contribute to each other within the areas of software-, system- and hardware engineering.
