Unilever is looking for a Demand and Supply Planner to be based in Solna, Sweden
ABOUT THE POSITION:
As our new Demand & Supply planner you will be expected to work closely together with our Customer Development team to build an integrated volume plan and to manage short term requests from the business. You will manage supply risks by having a close cooperation with the Sourcing Unit and Unilever Supply Chain Company (USCC) and ensure that the business is informed of any potential supply risk. Please note that this is a temporary position.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Deliver integrated volume plan (0-24 months rolling) for his/her portfolio
• Highlight gaps in the demand plan and challenge the Customer Development team
• Understand past and future assumptions, risks and opportunities, and clean the sales data
• Understand and apply statistical models, depending on historical patterns and horizons using exception based planning.
• Report, analyze and deliver KPI's (Volume Bias, Volume Accuracy, product availability)
• Manage short term demand requests and problem solving
• Manage scheduling of locally repacked products
• Translate potential supply risks from the Sourcing Unit and ensure clear
communication to internal and external customers
• Obsolete management; identify obsolete risks, initiate and follow through required actions to sell out obsolete and to avoid obsoletes
• Healthy portfolio Management ? make delisting proposal for non performing products
• Manage Master Data for the local portfolio
• Drive the Supply Chain responsibility in the innovation process
• Deliver on all responsibilities in a way that supports our Unilever Sustainable Living Plan
REQUIREMENTS:
In order to succeed in this position, you should hold a University degree in Economics or Engineering preferably within the Logistics/Supply Chain area. You?re in the beginning of your career and have demonstrated previous experience from the field.
In order to manage this position in an optimal way, it is required that you have strong analytical skills and a structured way of working. Since you will manage, and have a lot of contact with, different stakeholders and functions you need to have good communication- and influencing skills. We also see that you are self-motivated, work independent and have the excitement and passion for making improvements and finding new capabilities for growth.
